engineering basically handles all of their courses internally
Probably because they need very specific parts of it at specific times
For the non-lab courses, we had a lot of interdisciplines
Even so, I was still always the odd one out
my school is like, 60% cs
and they mostly keep away from physics
other than first year shit

We don't need him dropping out to start his own facebook knock-off
I fired up the old python to do a physics assignment earlier tbh
mainly because I did not feel like typing 10 decimal places into a calculator constantly though
This is the course that will kill you Pika
thats a graduate level course
so I am safe for now

I had no choice
There is only 3 people in my program for my year taking courses atm
because everyone else is on coop
so all my classes are mostly empty
Um... is that normal?
In Canada I mean
Mys chool has the worlds largest coop program
so it is for my school
According to this article from 2014, 2/3rds of the students at my school then were coop
I think I would just rather graduate on time
I'm not a huge believer in internships/coops
mainly important for cs tbh
a lot of them go get jobs in sanfransico
and get 100k coop salaries

I work around a lot of interns, a good number of them CS
It is as much of a waste of time for them as it is for us
idk
different opinion from people at my school
But, internships are trendy, so we keep spending that money
I had a really good internship while I was in high school, but that feels like the outlier to me
Given everyone I've talked to as well
I guess the difference coop is the focus of my school
we have a much weaker research output than other schools
literally just coop
Boulder out in Colorado is similar Pika, they really push the intern/coop route
It does give some added legitimacy

I think we had 1 girl in my undergrad program
no one applies to math phys through the physics faculty
every goes through the math faculty

Worse ratio is like, 5 girls out of a program of like 300 at uwaterloo
most girls go to laurier

and is much easier
