covered a bit of good coding practice stuff
such as naming variables, comments etc
then we changed gears and did graphs, density plots, hisograms,
we skipped the section in the textbook on 3d graphs
Then we talked about accuracy and speed
numerical error, inherent rounding error
that
integrals and derivatives, did like 4 different techniques for integration and 2 or 3 for derivatives
and errors on both integrals and derivatives
basically yeah
this course is really just a "here is the shit you need to know for physics and nothing else" course
then we did a bunch of shit that amounts to "use these packages to get functions to solve matricies and other linalg shit"
and talked nothing else about linalg
Did a bunch of nonlinar equation stuff
maximums, minimums, zeros of data
then Des

Considering this is the first I hear that there are more than one type of array

This course only has class 1 time a week
and 1 lab a week
so we did not cover much
Physics applications basically
we got to chapter 8, skipping 7 and most of 5
in my textbook
chapter 9 is partial des, 10 is random numbers, and 11 is just a bunch of advanced applications

might mention it somewhere
I probably will read through and try to learn everyhing from this textbook over the summer, as well as take computational physics 2
as a course over the summer
