i used to think it would be a good game

yeah, not a single negative comment on the rob video, read all of them

i don't actually know anything about uquest other than all the disappointment every time it is mentioned

it was supposed to be an action rpg sidescroller set in the unforgotten realms universe

with comedy and references everywhere

but then he divorced his wife who was also the art director

i think the kickstarter might also have been funded largely by a couple people

now the project is using sixelona(?)'s art and the url universe

there have been no public releases of gameplay video or assets in probably at least a year

1310 backers pledging about a $100 each

bu rob has not abandoned it because he used DVZ to gain additional funding for the project last fall

he didn't make 1M

and rob has said he is against early access, so we won't see anything about the game until he has completed it to satisfaction

rob should just continue the original series, that was his best work

I am floored by how little the developers have managed to accomplish. I think that Unforgotten Quest could be a great game, and I’m very interested in playing a well-made co-op side scrolling action RPG with Time eater. Unfortunately, it looks like the devs are more interested in making cartoons and Let’s Plays than finishing the game they were paid over $100,000 to complete.

i stopped halfway through that because he was trying to explain why keeping characters alive based on popularity is a good policy for an "anyone can die" mentality
