Bopit, I also need to pay for uni
how much does yours cost?
am I the only person whos parents saved enough money for college?
a year?
jeez
man
thats a fuckton
I have enough money left over for grad school
6k a year + books
I don't buy books
I got 1k off my first year
and ontario pays 30%
I got half price off 40k a year
+2% off from using a credit card
So really, I am paying (6k-.3x6k)+ books - 1k in total
just stop buying books
saves a bunch
I like books
you can find all of them online for free and even if you don't want to do that you don't really need them
what major are you
computer science
Mathmatical Physics here, books are nice
I mean wikipedia
I cannot handle looking at a screen that long for books
I look at screens 18 hours a day
im going to go blind at 30
geez
I still do all my work on paper, even though I could learn how to use one of the many digital math things
I just do not like using tech when it is easier to do on paper
I don't know the last time I hand wrote anything besides a signature
math programs are super easy when you are a CS major
The most tech related stuff I have had to use was excel for some physics labs
wut
I like write programs to do my homework for me
You are a cs major, most of your homework should be that
I have had about 30% math, 50% cs, 20% humanities
I have 3 math, 1 physics, and 1 kinda almost cs next term
I took a math minor
My program just is math and physics, I am considering either an astrophysics specialization or a pure math minor
Because both are easy enough to get
pure math sounds really fun
I do not have enough course slots for that
engineering is scum
if that is what you are
pretty much
Take a real major like dance theory
