Modded MC > All said above Terraria is a good game but I don't think you shoudl compare it to MC. Terraria is more focused on collecting and grinding and minecraft is more about the experience and being laid back. Modded MC > all though. I hold Terraria and modded terraria equal but below normal MC just because MC you can play at any time while terraria after a 100 hour long playthrough- you have to take a break

honestly, the only things I wanted in alpha was more depth to loot(unique things like the hang glider, boat, etc) a barebones quest system and more customization for the different classes

when I played cubeworld (with friends) we were all remarking "why is this game in alpha" for the first couple hours it FEELS like there's a lot going on but the systems don't scale well at all, I'm not sure how you could just throw more content at it and have it be good
