Watch the new MHA movie

the movie sets up season 5 and uses season 4 character stuff from the intern arc so I guess it takes place between the seasons

its basically a DBZ movie with MHA characters

the hand waving they do to make it eligible for canonicity is hillarious

most of the movie is decently animated fight scenes

the violence is over the top

Bakugo is far too friendly with Midoriya

Bakugo haters will detest the movie

the academic research romance show just had an episode that was entirely people giving lectures

as far as anime movies go, I have a few for shows I need to get around to watching the movies for at some point, but I did watch two heroes

I thought it was alright

it was fine, but there was an All Might to rely on in that to beat the villain

God there are a lot of anime movies for shows I have watched coming out/out now that I am looking at the list again

I need to watch the danmachi movie, konosuba, goblin slayer, high school fleet, made in abyss

which are all out/coming out

and heroes rising obiviously

and once you, who hasn't read the source, watch Legend of Crimson, we can get the opinion of someone who doesn't have expectations

I can spoil the fact that I will like it already if you want

its good but the novel is exceptionally better

so much was cut out

isn't that supposedly the usual case

with novel/manga -> anime

the party swapping arc was cut, and the in depth analysis of Kazuma's magic skills is all I remember being missing

apparently Heroes Rising is based on a potential ending concept from Horikoshi

I was thinking it was them guessing what an ending to the series would be so that makes a ton of sense

weekly complaint that Gentle is the worst character in the entire MHA franchise and this arc is filler garbage
