Been curious for quite osme time

So, you know how Tom essentially lived with Rob for a month to make that Kickstarter video

I did not acutally lol

Though it makes sense i suppode

yeah, so that 2012 Kickstarter announcement video

Rob had zero professional camera equipment or experience

So Tom traveled up for 2-3 weeks to help Rob

Eh, makes sense though, dont be hating too hard on the man

I still think hes made great content, more than that tbh

I love(ed) Tom, kind of doing his own thing now

He just has a lot of flaws, the biggest one being his inability to take critisicm

Yeah, ive been thinking of catching up with him for a while, and probably will, just sort of forgot tbh lol

after helping Rob with the video, he went back to his place and started looking for a next job, since he was trying to get into freelance work

tired of working for his father

anyway, Tom owed Rob a few thousand dollars for something, and they got into a huge argument right after Tom had spent a month helping Rob with the video

and Rob wanted to collect

A few thousand is quite a lot though lol

to "help" the kickstarter along (my speculation)

when it had kinda stalled

Makes sense, assuming he didnt really have it though

and Rob froze Tom out after he pushed back

and it essentially killed their friendship

Tom probably had it, not like he was broke

but it was a big ask, at a time when tom was not positioned to pay Rob for something from years ago

Kind of a sad story I suppose, wasnt really what i was expecting either

I don't know exactly how much

but it wasn't a lot

I did always like toms content though

tbh, I'm sure there was more behind the scenes in terms of arguing and not seeing eye to eye

but he kinda kicked Danny out, to continue with things on his terms

Honestly, I think the fact that he made so many impressive things is why so many people stuck with him though, even though he was an asshole in many ways, you always had to look back at what he did, how hard he worked and all that, yknow what I mean

Rob's had 3 mid life crisis's, by age 30 I think that takes a toll on you
