To be fair, twitch vods are pretty good, support chapters, chat replay is nice, theater mode is big, it's high quality and fast, but it isn't a youtube replacement
I probably watch twitch vods more than YouTube now
but vods don't support the creator in any way
so not sure why rob is advertising that
I also will watch a twitch vod over youtube if its on both. From what I've seen, the twitch vod is typically better video quality

Ugh no after my shitshow of a group I’m not playing D&D for a while

My backstory was well written so my dm worked it into the campaign
Basically that my dad went out on research expeditions and one time didn’t come back
Literally the first 5 minutes we found my dad, they killed him
Ive found that irl, it just comes down to how much you're able to hide your hatred for that one person in the group.
He was turning everyone into a cyborg because he believed that’s what’s best for all creatures or whatever
So I was like “should I join my father or not hmm” and the group just killed him right there in front of me
I told everyone “just don’t kill him, that’s all I ask, you can knock him out and capture him”
Then our edgey anime swordfighter runs up and cuts off his head
I saved that guy from getting killed in our first session too. Our barbarian was going to kill him because “every fight I get into has to either lead to their death or mine because honor”
Basically everyone in my group was a “that guy”
Except our Druid, but he was a triton Druid with no reason to be on land
Another problem, autistic people are gonna act how you expect autistic people to

I could go into detail about every member of my group and explain why they could be considered “that guy”
