Have I mentioned the notwithstanding clause thing to you guys yet?
Because it is amazing to me that he actually used it
Notwithstanding clause lets the government basically say fuck you to the court (any court including the supreme) and push through legislation

it has basically never been used, only examples off the top of my head are Quebec uses it to stop English language mandates by the federal government
and Alberta tried to use it to stop a bill allowing gay marriage
