Patreon may have changed this in the last couple months so I could very well be wrong
But you used to have to message Patreon staff to get them to change when your donations charge
It was easy to do, but it was not something you could just flip in settings
And Rob changed it, because he used to not charge up-front
why is he even charging up front
he needs money quick

because the 24K+ he made in the last two campaigns have been wasted on flower crowns
Patreon isn't smart enough to fix their site,
Everything should charge the full amount up front for month 1, and then reduce the price of month 2 by some percentage
So if you pledge $100 on the 30th of April, you get charged $100 for April
And then you get charged $3 for May, and $100 for June
like, patrons that sell like... early access, or a product or w/e else on tiers have a legit reason
one patreon i do feel kinda bad for is six's
she has 32 people pledging but only 157 a month
That's $5 a person on average
Honestly, she's not that good of an artist to get paid for pinups

but shes a better person than rob by far who just milks his friends and fans for money
There's a lot of insane artistic talent online, and it's hard to compete going it alone
