It's because the initial implementation was a complete mess (probably by design), so they redrafted it with provisions that make it largely ineffective, which hardly matter when the courts kept making orders that prevent it from being enforced

And even then, an actual muslim ban is hardly an extreme position. Deciding who qualifies to enter or become a citizen is the cornerstone of what makes a country. These traitorous bastards like sanders make an uproar over even the slightest attempts at border patrol only because they can get away with it. It's their way of gaslighting us, making anything short of open borders seem like a radical position.

He used to speak a semblance of sense, before it became profitable for him to take up the extreme anti-american rhetoric. It's the only way he can convince the young voters he's still a "rebel" at this point.
