they fixed the quick use stuff

so now wheel does one menu

shift+wheel another

So to be fair

I like some wheels

I think the way dishonored 1's works with the actual inventory/number buttons/asigning

I go back and forth on numbers

even though that's a PC thing

that some people love

this is good imo

you can assign or just slect

and it flows well if you know exactly where you're going

so you press the button, then quickly move your mouse in the bottom right direction for example

then you have what you want

Even Dishonored, I never felt like I actually used all the skills

which is why radial wheels are never my favorite

as a menu, they're great

and yep, still have nightmares of that

also in dishonored its hard to use the skills unless oyu know what you're doing/WANT touse them

and it doesn't help you're persuaded to not use killing

when all the abilities want you to kill

but I think that's what makes them interesting, do you give into your inner kid and go fucking wild

Despite me enjoying the non-lethal options in dishonored2

i feel like it ruined that fact

that non-lethal restricted you

It's the Deus Ex problem, pacifist is more fulfilling in almost every way

but lethal gets all the cool shit

I feel like I kinda like that though

because if they're equal it doesn't feel as good/challenging to do nonlethal

Like dishonored2 literally becomes

do you press the left click to kill or th eright click to spare

and it feels non-impactful on gameplay

Cyberpunk will be really interesting, how they draw that line

because I think the non-lethal tools will be far, far lacking

I hope they are too

or if they have ones that aren't lacking

they don't pull a dishonored and it's just the same tool but "non-lethal"

The problem is, that you reach story beats, where it doesn't make sense to remain a pacifist pussy

ie, Deus Ex, when they shoot down your helicopter

but you're punished for fighting back

which sucks
