to me, I will always enjoy the latter more

Sekiro also tests your memorization and rythem more

Dark souls you (usually) just need to remeber the direction you roll, I'd argue it's harder to memorize, and keep track of posture/hp/foe posture/hp than your stam and hp in DS

and enemy attack patterns being more complex

though to be fair, I'd argue DS punishes you more

for fucking up
