Beryl is actually LB6’s king representative sent to Olympus as a spy. The orbital laser Rhongo was originally meant to use against the Alien God’s real body not Chaldean and Wodime factions. But since he thought that by burning the tree down he should’ve already prevented the descent of Alien God, thus eliminating the need for him to preserve his trump card. Thus it's still save to assume that he did not betraying his LB for real, at least not yet.
The power structure within LB6 is still unclear and we still don’t know who “the scary princess” Beryl talked about when he just arrived at Olympus is and whether or not she’s the king of Britain LB.
Next to the Alien God Beryl is pretty certain that Britain LB’s king is currently the strongest entity on the planet right now. Britain is now confirmed another rogue independent faction opposing the Alien God side after Beryl declared Brexit towards Rasputin.

In order to save humanity, he aims to have them reborn as something greater. Once his plan completes, inequality will end and humans will turn into gods. This is what he always meant by 'returning the age of gods'. On this day humans will have shot down the concept of gods.

In the ship, Da Vinci confirms that due to all the ether being released by the tree, the souls of everyone in Olympus and Chaldea are being 'upgraded' gradually. Soon, all of them will reach Heroic Spirit level while still being humans. 

Kirei declares the entire Britain LB as an enemy of the Alien God, seeing as Beryl was their representative. Beryl mentions the previous Rhongomyniad was magecraft his king had prepared to use vs the Alien God. Once Kirei prepares to kill him, he makes Tamamo take him back. 

Kirei then has Muramasa cut open the tree in order to free the Alien God inside. This lets out a tremendous amount of energy, which Mashu's systems identify as the final of the evils of humanity, Beast VII.

When Chaldea reaches the meeting room, Kirschtaria broadcasts a message announcing his victory and the completion of the fantasy tree. Later, Ritsuka and Mashu see the priestess trying to tell them something, but nobody else sees her so they just hurry and run past her.
