so there is an origional and a remixed BGM apparently
did we actually get him to try fsn
Perhaps
Rejoice bopit your wish is about to come true
pretty sure you guys were the ones trying to unconvince me
The FSN vn is really good
it is but we werent shure if hed like it
In terms of enjoyment I prefer the anime adaptation
Probably because I have no appreciation for VNs
but
normal endings
and "good" endings
Muh Mind of Steel Bad End
If I didn't like Fate, I'm not sure I'd like the VN
Because for the most part, I don't enjoy how artificially slow VNs are
Just read faster forehead
am i the only person who enjoys VN
just skip every second textbox
As someone who plays a metric ton of VNs
I do not mind them
Kappa
hunniepop isnt a vn
also did hunniepop 2 come out
i assume it was bad
did it
it is not on steam if it did
he hasnt tweeted for a fewq motnhs
what hpenned
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Huniepop 3
Also I played whats it called
kakakakakakarara
Now with more PoC’s
so that is 1 VN
Kappa
oh huniepop three must be the best one
its the HF of the huniepop-verse
:^)
he has 21 days
Kappa
I've played maybe 10 true VNs all the way though
And they have all been, without exception, artificially slowed down
Even if you max out the text speed
It still feels like they're written in a way that dialogue doesn't flow well
VNs are bad, more news at 11
The stories are usually actually pretty good
It just comes down to, the background art and character VAs add nothing, imo
And I'd rather they just write a novel
Then there are games, with VN elements, that I think are pretty great
you...
Like MGQ, or VA-11 Hall-A
follow the text speed?
i just click to make it end right away so i can read it
and go on
and usually thats a feature
I max out the text speed, to appear instantly
Or double click, yeah
My problem is they way it's written, is slowed down by text dumps being broken up to fit on the screen
I'm convinced that editing happens after the script has been written, and they've broken it up to fit into a certain layout
And then TLing further harms this, slows down further
I'm not a redditfag speedreader by any means, it's less about the speed at which I consume the writing
And more that the writing itself feels written in an enlongated way
When I start feeling like I can skip whole paragraphs and not miss a beat
Fate isn't the worst offender or anything
But I'm convinced it's a part of the medium, given how they all seem to share that style.
they need the games to be longer then 10 minutes spooky
they have to elongate the text
It feels like an ln so far
but it has va, bgm, and background art and I'm kinda liking that
it's an ln for pika!
bopit, it is not a ln
I would be more likely to enjoy VNs then LNs
I imagine anyways
is there any reason not to use all of your fp constantly
like are there fp banners too?
