-1 hp +1 attack -1 speed +1 def same res (+ SPD) Ayra adds +16 damage with her special, 17 with her sword. Marth, adds +12, (with his sword) Lets factor in how marth can do more now. Marth has +1 attack than ayra, so lets give him another attack. Lets give them both a speed tactic now (the highest out of combat speed buff we can give), A +spd ayra (with her sword) does 19 damage. A marth does 16, 3 less but if you count his base attack stat, that's technically a total of 2 less damage. If we throw his fire emblem or any other buff that boosts his attack, he'll eclipse her in damage right away. While he can't compare to her ability to shit out the specials, he can come back from that with more damage as long as he has the support. Even if he doesn't have the support, he'd still eclipse her because of his special adding +4 to all his stats, including his attack and speed stats, 12+4 = what, 16!
