I never liked AoE 2 as much as a kid but I know everyone else did

Thing is though, the HD version they released on Steam is way better than anything Microsoft is going to put out

It even had new DLC

i loved AoE2 but i always played the be defensive till you get max upgrades game....

I can sum up why online was bad there was no skirmish mode no good PvP and the game was unbalanced as fuck due to player abilities

I liked the modding scene from 3 better

But 2 was a better game

3 allowed for much bigger battles, which lent itself to fun mods
