I think the debate about how something is "engaging" but not "fun"
engaging things are fun for me so that seems like a false seperation

new game, most of the colours are simple gradients or 2-tone

Rogue Legacy was one of those suprisingly fun games
although the boss rematches are cucking me out of a 100% achievement rating because those are hard

I re-beat the final boss like 8 times or something
and then was getting 1-shot by normal mobs

youtube keeps recommending me videos of anime girl youtubers playing helltaker now
