I mean I also have a really hard time replaying AoE2 in general sense I played it so much as a kid

AoE1 and 3 have way more nostalgia for me than 2

aside from the unclear explanation of free vs paid
and even back then, going back to 1 from even 2 when there wasnt that large a time difference. Its a big change

I figured out why there was a ttt map that oddly only I had wall textures for in the underground. It's a episode 1 texture
guess HL2:E1 has a unique texture after all
