but he never uses it

you cant even guard

while stunned

you get stunned, then anyone can attack you or charge up an attack that auto stuns

so you can get stun locked

i was thinking more of the you get into a certain attack and you can't get out of it

getting stunned means your being too greedy when they become all red

at least that's how i usually get stunned

or they just get a good attack off

Okay max, so apparently piccolo uses an attack called the "makosen"

and i go on the defensive

It's pretty much identical to the masenko, but gohan's the first one to use it on screen

appearently piccolo jr.

uses something similar to masenko too

So either go with the idea that toriyama fucked up the continuity a bit, or kid gohan misremembered the syllables in the moment and went with it
