it's a rough start i'll tell you that much.... i progged hallicarnasus savage for 3 months that was just the third fight NotLikeThis

yeah p1 has really rough aoe timings

like if you don't immediatley move the next aoe will set in where you are at and you'll die even if you move to right spot

I only started doing savage ex stuff very recently, groups been working on clearing hades

Hades is fun

my group cleared hades after people found a little flaw with the final phase

aka there's a spot where the aoes will never hit you but it's very small

basically turns the fight into heal group, tanks move to towers. then stand in the spot

rinse and repeat

basically anyone who hasn't done ultimate coil of bahamut, or midgarsommr savage will for sure die to the exflare mechanic

imo the only hard part of that fight is the add phases and maybe p1 if your dmg is lowish
