ttheres something special about playing vanilla

not being able to automate everything easily is endearing for some reason

you can automate a lot now

its just hard to do

crafting, replanting, and bottle filling are some of the only things you can't automate

animal breeding might be automate-able now

the replanting one is weird to me

that seems like something dispensers should be able to do

crafting is

the main hold up

for a lot

makes kelp farms pointless

and a lot of the modded stuff that makes it easy

is mostlyjust proper piping

instead of having to deal with vanilla autism

hopper filters are

literal cancer

i feel like if you get piping though everything becomes almost too easy

none of the automation feels earned

not to say that vanilla may be kinda overly complicated

but most modded ways feel too easy

they should add a villager that you can hire to craft stuff

or let you become mayor and tell them what to do

i just watched a video where a guy talked about something like that
