the graphics are "better"

but its not as stylistic + pixel art isusually better

the sounds are nowhere near as cartoony

The timing is easier in eveery single fucking way

That sucks that it's easier, I din't play too far into the main game got burnt out on the terrible Bowser Jr mode

Why would they make it easier

It didn't click with me that the stupid autobattler was all it was

The difficulty felt pretty perfect back in the day

The only thing that fucked me was perspective shit, where you can't tell if luigi or mario is getting targeted

The final level was hard as a kid, which was perfect

was the enzyme game

The final boss was confusing because I didn't button mash hard enough and assumed it was the wrong way to beat it

that was also hard

speaking of which

There are also a couple points in the game, where you pretty much need to lvl up 1-2 times

they ruined the final boss theme

for the remake, it doesnt feel as good

the notes dont hit as hard

I never beat the dark star challenge boss, I know there's a marathon fight after that

maybe i should replay the original
