it was a fun game
only bad stage was the airship
platforming and speed dont really mesh well
Shovel knight's breaking the save point mechanic ruined it for me
I'd never not break them
and then would inevitably die and have to redo whole levels
what why spooky
I got pretty far in the game too
but I hated losing so much progress, repeatedly
you dont have to break the checkpoints you know

you get gems for doing it though
but
money is useless at a certain point
I'm never not going to do it though
it's like leaving a chest unopened

I've never seen anyone break the checkpoints in shovel knight so i guess im surprised
