I don't know if I'm just too use to EU4
But I have a lot of thoughts on Imperator
Historical accuracy aside (mostly OK) some of the game balance stuff is really stupid
But as someone who understands how map painting games work, it seems really... easy I guess
UI is bad, imo
But I think with mods it'll be a pretty good game
lot of systems that can be played around with in mods
also, the game is just broken in some parts
to a weird degree
So, you have 8 advisers
But you can't shuffle them
So if you want to switch your head priest your chief of military strategy
you have to assign a new priest, some nobody
then assign the old priest to the military
then you can put the guy you want as head priest
merging armies seems just plain broken
i just wish the armies were more than just a big dude on the map with a number under him
Part of me thinks I might return the game
I feel like so many of the systems just don't work, in vanilla
Not sure how long it'll take to become good
I would watch evo if this were the case

Slower than I would have liked
especially since it means we're not getting all the characters
Mostly it's artifacts being 6-9 months away at least, that bums me out
