You do the entire game, then fight genichiro, then you just do the bad ending right away

Tannenberg is good, bu it's a dead MP game

I do not like online FPS games

I liked northgard tho

I'm not sure what part of it you liked, but if you're looking for decent RTSs, 0 A.D. is pretty good clearly inspired by AoE and AoM

I really didn't think Northgard or Iron Harvest were much to write home about

I don't like xcom because there aren't any characters. My team are just stupid faceless soldiers and nobody in the base is likeable

is some of the best parts

when i make the gay twink support that has helped me along the way, and he gets trapped and might die, im sure as hell going back in to the line of battle for him

My problem with Xenonauts 1, was that you couldn't customize your characters meaningfully XCOM almost gives you too much sometimes, but it's the best part of the game for sure

That was just a stupid mechanic

it was a stupid thing, and indeed stressful, but it added a lolt

I enjoy the time limit kinda

to be fair second playthrough I also removed it

but I usually keep it now

It wasn't stressful to me, it just made me play in ways that weren't fun

Maybe later missions, it started to work better

But by mission 2 or 3, I had disabled it

the only part of xcom i like is the gameplay itself and i can find that in other games where the team members aren't just inserts

customizing characters isn't fun to me

But I honestly think it lacks any real creative lore/story

yes the world is literally just a standard post-apocalyptic setting but xcom isn't exactly a unique world either

that works better to me, I don't feel like I'm getting shortchanged
