ok, so
I think Metro will be fine
Fortnite is going to have to pony up though, or hope to God all of a sudden another 2M people purchase the game

I think they expected to come in at a loss with metro
the point was to strengthen their store

they should have built stock with indies over time then struck join release deals with some big games so that they remained on steam

Steam is the company in the public consciousness, it will be extremely hard to dethrone them, especially overnight
they really should have just made people familiar and willing to use the epic store, I can't think of any sizable amount of people who would jump from steam to epic even if epic got the rights to some good shit
