I'm so happy they decided to do a whole new game, rather than just DLC
Oh good, they're handicapping their games future for (I'm assuming) the short term of them being used to java code and easy porting of existing content they have

I have my doubts that AoE 4 ever comes out
Given how bad the AoE Remaster sold
And them pushing the AoE 2 and 3 remasters
Sure it was, in 1999 when it came out
It was a shitty remaster though
SC1 Remaster was WAY better

It had plenty of holdovers of engine limitations
I never liked AoE 2 as much as a kid
but I know everyone else did
Thing is though, the HD version they released on Steam is way better than anything Microsoft is going to put out
