The steam awards choices for "game of the year" are awful
surprisingly 2 games i actually nominated made it onto the final vote for a couple of these categories

Obra Dinn is legitimately one of my favorite games... I think ever
and ya, if the visuals don't work for you, even the different colour pallets wont fix that
I don't like writing off a game for it's visuals but I really just cannot stand the ones for obra dinn ufortunately
I'm sure it's a good game though
Even though I know the art style is contentious, I'm still glad he went with what he did instead of turning to shitty pixel art
