just quick scroll through the negative reviews to see what the worst some people have to say is
that is what I typically do before purchase
demos are different for the most part, except in the odd case when the demo was made to be higher quality than the game itself
I like both xenoblade 2 and octopath, they both have their strong points and are both good imo
I have not played xeno 2 yet other than my initial hour or so, but I liked octopath quite a bit
