Health is just as important as defense
Olberic having only 3k hp is kind of low
Mine has about 4.3k hp at level 43
Apothecary HP passive, and a 500 HP amulet

I always did that to save on money and to make sure the active party had the best gear I own
everytime i swap members I unequip the ones i take out
