botw is a solid game

personally I like botw a bit better since there's so much to do

But odyssey is brand new atmosphere for Mario fans

"so much to do" in zelda is really just fighting the same enemies over and over in slightly different locations

which is fun, but kind of repetitive

I personally don't mind it. You can hone in your skills vs the same enemy

i guess exploration is the main part of the game

everything except the lynels is really easy

even in master mode it wasn't bad

once i got the shadow armor

the way that is so interesting is you start off with nothing so everything seems hard

and at the end you run around for hours on 1 heart and don't even get worried

This is why I'm planning on getting whatever I can while I get stuff

Ganon fight was dissapointing imo, and the lack of overworld music was a shame, but otherwise botw was good

Well while I'm going to see ganon I may come across the best weapons in the game that are too tempting not to take

everything is breakable

Mastermode would be better if lynels were the basic enemy tbh

weapon usefulness is situational

the best weapon is probably the axe+++ which is exclusive to hard combat trials

You recoop weapons fast anyways, so breaking them is not a big deal

you break them much faster in master mode

still rather go through it as planned.

if you want the hard experience, complate the plateau in normal then restart in master

you'll understand combat

The fun of botw is exploring imo

but once you've explored everything...

Then I play a different game

my botw save is going to be wiped by repairs so i need to rebeat the game for the dlc

lol then I go play odyssey
