Take a deep breath and remember you didn't cause the cat to fall, so you aren't at fault. Taking the cat to the vet was the best course of action anybody could've taken for it.

OK he's fine. He did need to be taken in but his back and back legs are sore. He needs medicine and were down $530 but he will be fine
