Nintendo is being pretty anti-semitic
The time travel hack wasn't good, which is why it makes no sense
you can only earn a maximum of 99,999 bells in interest at once
and of all the ways to make bells dishononestly, that is super slow
that is not even worth it
as if they would nerf a mechanic just because of people who do not play the game legitimately
it is a pointless nerf
What was the previous interest rate?
so from 0.5 to 0.05

I mean that makes interest go from practically worthless to actually worthless
At that point they should just remove the feature itself
but wait
that doesn't fix the problem
people used time travel to bounce to 2999
and then back
they'll still earn the maximum interest each time
with 1M bells, you need to skip foward 200 years to earn that 99k bells
so unless the llatest update changed the maximum year in the Switch calendar
even then it just means you need 10x the bells in the bank
to get the same result as before
such a useless nerf
if anything they should have buffed interest rates so it would actually matter
