Gator, Emvee, and Joey are friends. Gator being a nigger who's done very well in drafts, winning a few. Emvee's an indian nerdy guy, who tends to favor unconventionality over practicality. And Joey is basically the poster-child of smogon

the time rule is interesting, but they are forced to do it

6v6, if it has a time limit at all, needs it to be much longer

it changes the strategy a bit, just like different chess time rules do

Winning through timer stalling is never satisfying

By smogon rules I've seen plenty of games go over 150 turns

I think Wolfey did that in the World Champions Invitational for one game and people were pissed

but thats 4v4 doubles so the time is less of an issue

Joey got a very unorthodox win last wbe by timer stalling

People weren't really happy with it, since it was his toxapex vs a rest araquanid I think

His toxapex would've been pp stalled to death, but he was able to timer stall and win by having more mons total

if its in the rules as a win method its an option

Yeah, but it goes against the standard 6v6 rules, rules that are much more fitting to the format

cybertron probably would have lost if his opponent went for the second round of toxic spikes turn two

2 layers normally isn't worth it

he was recover stalling in this game though

though it takes awhile for that extra damage to matter

Only really effective vs stall oriented teams, except that all the best stall pokemon right now are immune to being poisoned

Corviknight and clefable are currently the most viable pokemon in ou
