if Hop was not in this game I would give it a 7/10

with Hop its a 4/10
Talonflame isnt in this game automatic 0/10
can every fucking pokemon in this game dynamax
doesn't matter, it will never be legal in competitive
bold of you to assume i play competitive
its funny that they are trying to push competitive but make the least competitive friendly gimmick yet
oh, every pokemon can dynamax, its gigantamaxes that are limited
How strong are dynamax moves
Base 120?
90 to 140ish
they all have secondary affects so the damage isn't the same
Also the point I'm trying to make here isn't if they got paid for a score, but rather, that the only way they rated this game an almost 10/10 score is IF they got paid. Why? Because the review itself makes claims that just aren't true if you actually play the game. https:/...
yesterday ZeRo publicly claimed IGN got paid to give SS a 9.3
they 100% did
or they were incentivised to
the revieewer is garbo
they get money for people using their referral link to buy the game
Showdown fucked up max moves then
why is showdown using dynamax?
the dragon attack multi-target that cuts attack on hit was really useful for me
I got 31k for beating the champ
I think I unironically spent 50k fighting him
I'll have to count my potions
thats more than I was using in my attempts
and I was getting to the last before charizard
I had two pokemon I was leveling with me
and had to resort to sandstorm stalling to kill his Ghost and his Charizard
i probably could have 1-shot his charizard if i had gotten to it
intentionally brought rockslide
man, what a weird story
I think Red/Blue might have more of a plot than Sword/Shield
really?
do thing then for 2 hours aftre beating the 8th gym do the entire story
Team Rocket was more of a plot than the stupid dog thing
The story, if there are 8 gyms, and a bunch of kids who qualify get to go around beating all 8
Team rocket has no plot
that's the story here
be kid
It's just a loose series of petty crimes
beat gyms
The other kids you go around with, sort of interact with you from time to time
get selected by the dumb dog pokemon to beat the dynamax causing evil dragon that is also the energy source for the region
but the overall plot remains, you're on a quest to beat the gyms
Bede turns gay
Then there is a linear... quest? at the end
How hard is it from pokemon to have, at least an average plot
apparently extrememly
I don't hate this plot
therre just isn't one
I hate Hop, not the story
Hop is the worst part about this game
Hop gets destroyed by Bede and disappears for a bit
the best part
Hop loses
and over
and yet he still acts like hot shit
and then at the end of the plot he decides he's going to be a professor
and the story still makes him out to be your better
Pokemon is such a good concept, how does it continuously fail in so many aspects
incompetent directors
and Iwata died
S&S is an average Pokemon game
not stack ranking it quite yet
its a terrible game
it wastes a ton of potential
it's a fine game
not with Hop existing
it actively punishes you rushing forward by having Hop stand menacingly at every new checkpoint
It's not like he has long segments though
B&W, and X&Y had longer cutscenes than this does
they are pretty long when you have to do them every 30 seconds becuase the routes have no content
if you're not catching stuff, this is a very different game, I'm sure
bw2 reminded me how much I hate the dialogue
And the fact that they force pokestar and join avenue on you
I liked PokeStar
