i saw a response to one of those lists of issues with SS graphics on twitter that said it will not stop anyone from buying the games, when there are multiple testimonials of people deciding to not buy the games because of graphics like that

I think it is likey fair to say it will not tank the games sales
Saying it will have 0 effect is wrong
its making people complain to nintendo customer service and getting customized responses saying they are also concerned
they don't like having their name tied to such a bad game
