Sing puts piranha plant to sleep even if it’s just his head
Like in his long reach attack
I just did sing on accident and it worked
sing is broken, but its on a bad character so its no big deal
rusp if you want to play puff learn to parry into sing
I don’t really want to play her
I just think she’s fun to mess around with
Rest and sing are really fun moves
Also she’s one of the few characters that I can manage to do aerial combos with
have you tried yoshi?
yoshi aerial combos are awesome
fastest air speed in the game and stupidly good aerials
Are they hard to pull off though
The combos
not that bad
Because puffs is just move forward and hit a button
yoshi tilts throw the opponent into the air and then you shorthop aerial
then juggle them to death

rusp can you shorthop without using the keycombos yet?
I can press jump and attack at the same time
And that short hops
thats a key combo
So just lightly tap jump?
I do it with pk fire sometimes
can you do it consistently though?
Not really
thats one thing i did learn before i stopped playing the game
In the middle of a battle I tend to press buttons hard
trigger jump ftw
I disabled it so I could do uptilts without taking smashes off the stick
no binding jump to the trigger lets you do a short jump input really easily

Because my brain is very adverse to change
thats why i can't switch back to smash stick despite using that exclusively in smash 4
i got used to tilt stick
I’ve considered buying a pro controller
they are very nice
Because joycons are causing me to do a lot of misinputs
I’ll have to get one at some point
My favorite misinput is when I do the ice move on sopo instead of spin to win
Despite having the joystick at the exact right spot
Also I don’t think this is a misinput but sometimes only nana shields when I hit shield
And I don’t understand how it happens
buffer system
could explain both of those
Is that when you put moves in and they go off later
Perhaps
you can input your next action while the current one is still happening
I think I would actually do better if I didn’t have that

lots of people hate the buffer system
I can see it possibly helping in combos or something
But other than that it would make you less able to react
i saw the only Robin main in existence do really well at that tournament yesterday
Robin feels like he’s pretty good
He’s just another advanced character
he caught the books when he expended spells and used them to start combos
That’s pretty insane

i keep watching these Game and Watch players dominate majors and think about how ZeRo said he was the worst character who isn't little mac
the australian major had ICs in grand finals
