If anyone is having trouble beating the 8 mega man stage
Use Lucas or Ness and absorb the projectiles
I beat it first try because epic

or use metal slayer and learn to dodge
if you have a character with projectile reflect like fox then you could also try that. Metal slayer is your best bet though

Ness's Dad made me able to beat Black Shadow finally
