My school is also not one of those bullshit american schools
so I have hope
wacky deadlines, constant updates/amendments
it's a teacher thing Pika, not a school thing
I just find when a teacher has a captive class
they seem to stop planning, half-as-well
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'll keep you updated on how my fully online term goes
looking foward to it
I am more productive at my desk, and I will save 2 hours of travel a day
so maybe I will actually have more freetime them usual
still hasn't changed
My uni is doing in-person as well
because they're not cucks
idk, I do not want to take the train
until corona is gone
pussy
ban commuter students
problem solved
well that'd fuck me
don't be a commuter student then
I'd rather not spend an extra X dollars per term
$4000?
how far away would you have to be Pika?
to rent an apartment
to not commute
Reasonably caring my heavy ass backpack? 20 min walk would be fine
I mean by train
if not by train it'd be by bus
which is just slower train
get a bicycle
leg, I essentially have 0 debt without having worked ever
4k a term extra and I would not
depends on your rent costs
rent is like 900-1200 a month
in the area around my university
Leg, I think Pika's doing the right thing
I just wonder where you cuttoff would be Pika
since, obviously I can't commute to Waterloo from where I live
I assume there's some distance away, that you wouldn't be able to live at home
I think I would not want to have more then 3 hours of travel a day
round trip 3 hours
so 1.5 hours away would be my upper limit
you have far more patience then I do
hours by bus/train that is
30 minutes would be mine
thats like, 30 mins by car
I'm closer to Leg
I like the train/bus
20-30 minutes
each way
especially when it is raining out
I just think while I ride it
that's my commute now, around 20 minutes
the 3 hour limit is not one of me not wanting to commute 3 hours either btw
it is a time constraint
any closer and everything is more expensive because chicago is awful
I think i would be unable to do my work if I had more then 3 hours
in theory if I had nothing else to do I would be fine with 4-5 hour commutes
I don't mind long trips, I'm pretty use to it
but commuting just eats your day away
and I hate giving up my time
more than anything else
and that is the problem when I always have like 5 assignments to do
Just astonishing. Please watch. We are in a civil war. https://t.co/enqqvzOQzd
Idk, I also show up to my classes an hour early
I do not mind waiting/wasting time
I love wasting time, the problem is I only have so much time to waste
also true
plus I like getting 7 hours of sleep a night
