Thing is, it's an interesting concept to play as a good-aligned character for a race that's almost entirely evil

orcs and kobolds are the only two races I know of in modern D&D that will have a racial - modifier to a stat

But when they take this whole egalitarian slant, then there's no real point anymore

Hell, even being inherently and genetically evil has its own interesting story
