Remember how unalaq instantly mastered all 4 elements and was stronger than korra

how did vatuu even do that
he never held the elements lmao
what would naruto take influence from avatar
It's in the lore because vaati was thinking for 10,000 years in the tree bubble
naruto didn't finish being written until 2014
but it was already going when atla was made, and had its own stuff
The rules of atla were kind of hard and fast
ok fine, I wonder if AtLA's writers read naruto
ask them
I get the idea that naruto is a lot looser
it is much looser
people are born with up to 3 elements
And a given character's powers can follow any sort of gimmick needed for a fight scene
i never finished naruto but they pulled a lot of stuff out from nowhere
the final arc has the two main characters becoming essentially natural 6 element users
and the final boss is a space alien
Just like avatar
really?
No
But the moon is a character
naruto goes to the moon in a canon movie
fights another space alien up there
I wouldn't call avatar grounded
Sokkas first girlfriend became the moon
That’s rough buddy
But, it never gets even close to that
The moon is a fish
Not anymore
Well yeah
Tui and la, moon and ocean, push and pull, yin and yang
Nvm
Yue became a second moon spirit I believe though
That’s what I gathered at least
Something or other
Instead of korra they should have shown Kiyoshis story
Or Kurrik
The surfer avatar
Eh
actually leg this might be off topic but i need to ask if you remember those couple naruto shippuden episodes where they were like, in a town in a crater in the middle of a desert. and there were like bugs and crazy snake boy kabuto was there masterminding something
You already know how they're going to go
better year
Yet
Don’t tell another story
i guess
Most of what I know about naruto is from plague's scathing review of the early stuff
Were those made by a different team or something
they felt weirdly different from the rest of the series
there were a ton of filler episodes in Shippuden
randomly placed even in the middle of arcs
yeah that's why i stopped watching it but i'm just saying those felt off to me
I don't remember a hidden sand thing that had kabuto involved
i skipped the filler
Avatar has very little true filler in the story, even most of the season 1 stuff becomes important later on
Avatar isn't an adaptation of a currently running manga
Tales of ba sing sei was supposed to be filler
Leaves from the vine
That was the best episode
The one thing that was actually filler was ember island players
But was done well
And...the divide
if you want to finish Shippuden get a filler list and just skip everything except stuff like the kakashi and minato back story arcs
I think divide had purpose
Taught aang how to heal conflict
They were doing that anyway
Fair
Cleaning the lake
That episode was pretty mediocre
Yeah painted lady was eh
I guess it had katara story
Fucking environmentalist message
Maybe that factory halted the production of more airships
We don’t know though
Your animation is all out sourced by foreigners, who have to travel by plane!
The Pilot episode could pass as being written today tbh
Katara screaming at sokka for being sexist
so Korra ruined the Avatar lore, but the Boruto manga is actually helping explain the stupid ending of Naruto
the chase was a filler episode in s2
But entertaining
The chase introduced azula and led directly into zuko's training with iroh
