What latex writer do you use
I can do 90% of what I want to do in Excel, better in sheets
but that last 10%, there's no alternative to Excel
The popular one
I guess I never learned sheets
it's just dumbed down Excel
And college made me learn office stuff
Idk
if you need to make super custom graphs, it's terrible
Layouts and stuff are different
Sheets is weird
Excel is nice, works well with access
Kinda love that stuff
I'm really good with spreadsheets in general
Yeah
Just started messing around more with them
Quite fun
And you can do so much
you shouldn't do so much though, is what I wish I could slap into people
For so long I used to love power using google docs
Ope
Idk
just because you can have Excel run hundred line macros, and serve as a form
Spreadsheets are easy but i just use python for tasks that can use them typically
doesn't mean you should
Yes
Instead just us access
For forms
Just use C# in that case
what's the purpose of Access
Access basically already has all the functions of excel built in
Its a database tool
kind of like Publisher, I just don't think it serves a purpose
Your right
Oh i use it at work
It's kinda stupid
There is no way to publish databases as programs
You can set logins and have guis to deal with the data in the database
They can only be used in access
Or compatible programs
Which is so weird
You can make such powerful stuff
But I don't want end users to interact with access itself
Which is so funky
It basically just let's you make fancy stuff for yourself
So use c# to access the database
And then create some interface for it
I'm no cs major
Complete shit at programing
C# guis are easy
Maybe
Drag and drop
Never really tried it
Oh
How is that drag and drop
Is this some editor
Visual studio
Visual studio let's you drag and drop c#
Wat
Like scratch or something
C# gui elements
I have been using visual studio for awhile now
Switched over from atom
You have to type for the event handlers
VS Code is not VS
Ope
Yes
You righy
I'm dumb
That's the vs your talking
Right
I have messed with that before
Primary becues there was some exploit at one point and time with it
You could run powershell as root
Or something
Regardless
Funky peice of software
Never really messed around with it
Kinda a linux girl
Not a huge windows power user
hat's off to you then, you have far more patience than I
