Honestly, I don't really know much about the topic from a legislative standpoint, but I guess I would probably want different tax breaks for companies acting within "green" guidelines, government investment in tech fields researching more efficient energy use, government investment of infrastructure for creating renewable and cleaner energy

Even individual tax incentives for adding solar panels and stuff to your houses would be pretty nice

you do not have to pay taxes if you convert your garage into a nuclear plant

Or on the other side, punishing states/etc. for not following guidelines well enough, actually making fines on companies breaking guidelines mean anything instead of just being the price of doing business

This is my problem with politicians, not you in particular Lamp everything gets bundled in a bill or as regulatory standards, and then they use that as the bar for what they want going forward
