Idk if the environment is our biggest issue currently when plenty of people are killing themselves through other cool new means
Only the stupid millenials would ever consider voting commie
Not that they vote anyway
What other cool means lol
yeah poor bernie really thought he could get us to actually go out and vote, the fool
I mean
I can think of
Just a few
..like?
I’m gonna cut my cock off
Pinned a message.
ah fantastic
The environment is very low on the priority scale
I just think as a world there is no bigger problem that we'll face in the future lol
We have 30 some years before americans replaced demographically
We need to get ourselves sorted first
It's not something like "oh shoot its 2050 now, we gotta turn this around. Let's pass some legislation real quick and itll all be fixed"
Fixing the environment is as easy as nuking china to extinction then going latgely nuclear power
The environment can't feasibly be fixed when all the democrats try to do is blame it on the other party
It takes hella time, and so why shouldn't we start laying the framework for moving to cleaner methods
It's the world's problem, especially china's, india's, and the middle east's
Yeah, it is the world's problem- and they all joined the paris agreement lol
America's damage to the environment comparatively quite low becuase we always gave a shit
There's only one important nation that isnt
China and india refused the agreement
It was worthless
It would just be another cut from our budget for no reason
What?
China is in the agreement
So is India
The fallacy you are making is assuming China ever tells the truth
It's the U.S. that left, and you can blame carbon emissions on china and india, but america actually doubles india's emissions
The problems that India faces as the giant population is water treatment and pollution, not carbon emissions
And yeah I'm worried about plastic in our waterways killing fish, but I don't think that's nearly the problem that climate change will eventually pose
Yeah, these limp dicked agreements won't get anything done anytime soon
china alone pollutes enough to push us over the supposed line
Well, there's a certain party that I see pushing for a green new deal, and another one that I don't
If anyone would ever explain how the 2 inch higher sea level is worse than the massive increase in aritable land that would become available from slightly warmer global temperatures that would be great
They already ratified it to their likings, to the point where they will just continue with their emissions reduction rate as usual
green new deal lmao
That undercut your entire argument
They have to pretend that this climate problem is going to have imminent consequences
50 years ago they were saying it was imminent too
Consequences of more food being grown
The amount of arable land we have isn't really the biggest issue though- We produce enough food to feed the world, it's just the matter of how much of it is wasted
We need to focus on our own country first
We already give billions in foreign aid to "developing" countries
And billions to our military
The fact is that charity can only accomplish so much, especially when you don't have your own country straight
Which, I'm totally down to have a huge military because I think china is a threat in the future
Yeah, good
But I feel like there's a certain extent to where its unnecessary for it to actually be that big
Research and develop mass nuclear power systems and the climate is saved (except the global temperature is largely controlled by the sun’s surface temperature so it wont actually make any difference)
Let’s just all globalize guys
Lol what
That will help 😄
One earth nation
Make it happen
I'm just really confused as to leg's statement because I've never even heard of that idea before
Well yeah, nuclear energy is really efficient
I mean the second half
"global temperature is controlled by sun's surface temp"
And looking it up, it seems to be "the rate of change is so slight we won't notice anything even over many millennia, let alone a single human lifetime."
I don't know or care much about the warming cooling cycle theory
The fact is we have no reason to put the enviornment before the survival of our own country
I don't think it's a mutually exclusive thing though
And I'm trying to find something that shows more than just the industrial revolution, leg so give me a sec
America's power won't last forever at this rate, and politics are soon going to swing hard to the side of globalization
My stance is:
*Climate models have never once predicted accurately
*We should do nuclear anyway
*Warming is better for humanity regardless
The only reason democrats politicians latch so hard onto climate change propaganda is because it breaks american identity
Stop worrying about yourself, worry about those people over there
Meanwhile, you get run out of your own neighborhoods by migrant gangs and your children get hooked on pills
America is in a very delicate position as is
Its also the party of the poor keeping people poor like they are incentivized to do by over taxing and regulating
I like how lamp comes back and it is a political arguement
hey lamp
