I've said it before, but I swear that it has to be <5% of kids who exit high school that are critically aware

It's nothing but NPCs, politics aside

i blame their parents

some make it a few years into university for an engineering degree instead of working at a pizza place without becoming critically aware

i went to private school until high school so that probably helped

I work with a lot of braindead people as well, and their numbers are staggering

even the really smart ones

this type of thing is why I'm highly considering going management track at my job if I dont quit to go back to school

I actually have macroscopic awareness

and I hate the codebase

I like the term "critical awareness" because it's the best way I can articulate what being "smart" is to me

critical thinking and self awareness

are all that someone needs to be useful/smart

intelligence is a very broad term that has different connotations in different areas

the word is meaningless, sure

a lot of the smart people at my university are retards

critical thinking is extremely important in engineering and tech though

I've already learned to be very cynical about corporate goals and customer requirements in the year I've worked Kappa

the obvious solution is to work harder, and not ask questions Leg

work harder so you can spend more on product so that you need to work harder for more advanced product
