and yes, as far as I know you can run Plex headless

i want to throw it on my server box

i guess once it runs i can access it via IP so it just needs to be installed

plex has been complied for just about anything,

i have it running on my desktop right now to play anime on my smart TV, just interested in putting it on my server instead

your biggest hurdle will just be getting it to play nice with whatever else you have running on your server 24/7
