Manuel Oliver lost his son, Joaquin, in the 2018 mass shooting in Parkland, Florida, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He was in El Paso to install a mural in his son's memory when he learned another mass shooting had happened targeting immigrants at a nearby Walmart.
