oh, ok this is neat
so that liquid inside, boils at room temperature
which sucks up all the surrounding heat
interesting
@Pika's Favorite would tell you that's called an "endothermic reaction"
Kappa
but
what does it so
you know, idk
lol
and there's no good explanation for how they... actually work online
You shoot it at things and thats about it
just about how they freeze shit
well then
oh yeah
spooky i might of mentioned this before
but what do you think about fan controllers
I mean, I think they're pointless
other than to sync RGB lights
there are those cool ones, that give you knobs and screens to control fan speed
Fan controllers are nice when your pc is a shit
they go in the same place dvd readers go right
And ignores bios fan speed control
My non-servers run pretty silent, even with fans going
i kinda want one just because i think itd look cool
yeah, I think the ones with a screen look cool
or the cases with them built in
yes
I'm going to get one i think
I wish i had one on my pc because ive lost the ability to control my gpu radiator fan
can it also control those?
you know Max, we should tag team this
you buy a cool case, and I'll give you all the hardware for inside
spookt
You can control everything, that you plug in
the numbers of the prife
seem a bit different
prife?
prices
also Reggie i thought they only controled case fans
ones mounted on the case or whatever else
Nah its whatever you plug in
Youre usually able to
different designs
Control fans off of some of the headers on the motherboard but
Sometimes it just refuses
So Max, most good fans (non molex) use those little 3-4 pin connectors
you plug that into the controller
yes
you can control them
we talked about
3-4 pins yesterday
or i mentioned them
maybe day before
I thought you meant mounting pins
no lol
like, the literal screws you were mounting with
whar
what*
thought you were saying you could only line up 3
nonono
This makes way more sense now
i have a weird number of 4 and 3pins
yeah, the 4th pin is usauly PWM
power management
which lets you get speed data back from it
rather than just sending speed to it
oh god
my music accidentally pulled the happy birthday song
so I'm listening to it
and randomly i hear pikas voice
i actually jumped
