>having a math project
>not being done school for the next 4 months
what is a math project
perfect
do it for me pika
kappa
what do I have to do
prove my identity
figure out what test i should do for the data I have then do the test so i can copy and paste it into the presentation i created
what was the experiment
Does having/subscribing to a streaming service impact if you own cable or not, as in a relation to if people are moving away from cable and onto streaming (i.e. netflix/hulu). I created a survery (lol) and then i put it abunch of places, and my teacher emailed out all the classes surveys and asked every class in the school to do it. Everyone has a different project and not everyone did surveys. I got like 113 responses.
okay, so my interpretation that this was a stats project was correct
yes
by test, what are we talking
do you do p analysis at your level
like
p-value?
yes
by test i mean
type of test
I don't think I understand
i think im just
gona bullshit it
what kind of tests do you normally do
I might just be misunderstanding what you are talking about
its an end of year project, so i could do any
I mean give me examples of what the types of tests are called
like 1 proportion z test, or a chi squared
>infinity
is infinity actually
used in math
all the time
it is a specific point in complex analysis that maps to the top of a sphere
why are you bringing up the riemann sphere?
it has other uses too
because it was a recent example it came up in
I did complex last term
As for your question max, do you in any way believe your data should follow a gaussian curve
in what way
these tests have requirements for them to be valid
I know
but
1. I dont think she's going to check it that hard
what conclusion are you trying to draw from the data?
anything
the project is literally
collect/find data
do any test youd like
and put it on a poster or presentation
it was suppoused to be a group project
but the person i was forced to do it with
knows nothing
and has done nothing
how many variables are there per response?
but put a single picture on the slide
Thinking about it
